1/4 Inch Plug | Black Malleable Iron | Fire Suppression Piping
A 1/4-inch black malleable iron pipe plug used to close off unused threaded openings in fire suppression system discharge piping runs, tees, manifolds, and related fittings. Black iron pipe fittings are commonly specified for fire suppression discharge piping in systems such as the Ansul R-102, Amerex KP, and similar restaurant and industrial pre-engineered suppression systems. The square head or hex head plug seats into a female NPT fitting and is tightened with a wrench to seal the opening.
