12790 Amerex 3/4 Mechanical Gas Valve - OEM

The Amerex 12790 is a ¾″ brass “pull‑to-close” mechanical gas valve designed specifically for Amerex KP (kitchen) fire suppression systems. Under normal operation, the valve is held open by a latch. When the system activates, a trip cable pulls the latch, allowing an internal spring to close the valve and safely shut off the gas flow.

Key Features:

• ¾″ female NPT brass construction, UL listed for natural gas and propane.

• “Normally closed held open” latching mechanism that trips on system discharge. 

• Integrated piston-latch system compatible with MRM, PRM, or SRM release modules. 

• Includes visual indicator for valve position. 

• Rated maximum working pressure of 10 PSIG (69 kPa). 

• Dimensions: approximately 10.31″ tall by 3.75″ wide.
