The Amerex KP 1xD Duct Nozzle (P/N 16416) is the dedicated exhaust duct protection nozzle in the Amerex KP Restaurant Fire Suppression System, consuming 1 flow point per nozzle. It is identified by the absence of tactile grooves or rings, which distinguishes it from all other nozzle types in the KP family by touch. A single 16416 nozzle covers ducts up to 50 perimeter inches or 16 inches in diameter; two 16416 nozzles can protect ducts up to 84 perimeter inches or 26 inches in diameter. The nozzle is mounted 2 to 8 inches into the duct opening and aimed at the center of the duct cross-section. Includes the standard cap (P/N 12334). Compatible with swivel adapter P/N 16440.
