The Amerex 06092 is the OEM aluminum valve stem for Amerex dry chemical and Halon fire extinguishers equipped with aluminum valve assemblies. It is the aluminum counterpart to the brass valve stem (P/N 6093A), which covers Amerex brass-valve dry chemical, Halon, and Class D models. Replaced during the 6-year internal maintenance examination or any time the valve is disassembled for recharge.
