The cabinet is not included with an extinguisher. It serves as protective housing that keeps the extinguisher visible, dry, and protected from weather exposure, dirt, and incidental contact in locations where a fully enclosed cabinet is preferable to an open wall bracket.
The heavy plastic construction is impact resistant and holds up to outdoor exposure better than painted steel alternatives, which are susceptible to rust in wet or coastal environments. The cabinet ships in red for high visibility. A safety chain secures the extinguisher inside the cabinet, and four mounting holes on the back allow the unit to be secured to a wall surface with screws or straps. Mounting hardware is not included. The cabinet is compatible with 10 lb dry chemical fire extinguishers from multiple manufacturers.
