Description
The Evergreen Quick Fastener Kit (#1408) is an installation tool kit used to install Evergreen Quik-Fastener self-tapping screws into stainless steel kitchen exhaust hoods and ducts for mounting fire suppression system hood penetration seals and related hardware. The kit includes four double-ended 1/8-inch pilot drill bits with a 135-degree split point designed for drilling through stainless steel, and one 10mm magnetic power driver used with a standard drill motor to drive the Quik-Fastener screws into the 1/8-inch pilot holes. The 135-degree split point drill bit geometry reduces walking and provides cleaner entry into stainless steel compared to standard 118-degree bits.
